About

We – Joe, Mark, and Scott – are here to share our insights revealed to us by the Word of God: a non-denominational, 100% word of God resource.  Our belief is that salvation is dependent upon faith.  Legitimate faith is proven through continual sanctification.  Sanctification occurs as we grow in the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of God.  Discipline (to instruct through refining) is the key to growing, but it all begins with the fear of the Lord.  We want this site to become a resource for you as the Proverbs say:

“For attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight; for acquiring a disciplined prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair; for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young – let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance…the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.” – Proverbs 1:2-7

Scott

Hey everyone!  Just thought you may want to know a little about me.  I am a non denominational, bible believing, 25 year old Christian male.  I have grown up in a Christian home with a loving mother and father, also one older brother who is 30.  I became a Christian at the age of 18 and never really started walking it out until I was about 21.  God has had His ways of holding onto me when I wasn’t holding on to Him throughout the years.  As of right now, I am single and learning from God as much as possible, trying to be sanctified to the best of my ability.  I am currently attending a Bible College in PA to obtain my Bachelors degree in Theology.  God willing, I will be heading off to a Seminary school to further my education in the Bible in hopes to become a Pastor.  I long to teach people the Word of God and to help them along this life that we are all called to live right.  I hope to bring back the message of sanctification into the Church so we can live properly and get off this new emergent church, hyper spiritual doctrine that doesn’t coexist with the Bible.   This is where I am presently at, I will keep this updated as I progress.

Romans 12:2 –  ”And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Mark

Just as God judges us, I see the bible as either black or white.  Some may call me radical, but I’m just striving to become more Christ-like.  “I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.”  My goal is sanctification through gaining more wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.  My benchmark is 2 Peter 1:5-7.  I believe that we are justified through faith, but sanctification proves the validity of our faith (Galatians 5:24).  I am a newly married (May ’09) to an awesome Godly wife.  I am currently finishing my last year at a top 20 business school to get my MBA.  I hope one day that with this degree I will be able to influence the lives of those around me, in areas outside the church that are closed to most church people.

Joe

I am the youngest out of the group, but I believe God has given me a lot of wisdom in my Christian walk. Even though I am only 19 years old, and have only dedicated my life to Christ in the past 2 years, by His grace, I have grown exponentially. I came to a pivotal point in my life where I started to look around at Christian culture and notice how it didn’t resemble anything that I’ve read in the Bible. I didn’t want to be the lukewarm Christian adult who doesn’t want to question their views; so I started to look deeper into who God really is. I firmly believe that God has a hand of mercy and discipline, and it’s unsettling how people would rather believe in the sovereignty of the devil, than God. Just because we are God’s chosen, and are accepted in Christ, doesn’t mean that we are not to be disciplined. The fear of God is something I desire more and more, because without fear, there is sin. As much as there is a fear of the Lord in my heart, there is a love for Him as well. There is no greater message, idea, or doctrine than Christ laying down his life for all.

As for my life, I will be finishing up my BA in Psychology at Stony Brook University in Spring ’11. After that I will be going to Dallas Theological Seminary for a dual MA in Biblical Counseling & Christian Education.
